Long-form guides
Longer pages for the questions a hub cannot finish
Each guide is written to be cited. The first sentence answers. The rest is the clause, the drawing note, and the thing people mix up.
At a glance
The useful facts before the deep dive
The hubs tell you which room you are in. These guides slow down. They are written for a homeowner who has to brief a glazier on Monday, and for a trades editor who needs a page that does not invent a market share.
Every guide on this index is new writing. None of it is scraped from the 2019 catalogue. If you arrived from an old link, you were redirected to the gallery index, not to a fake case study.
How to use the list
Pick the decision you are actually making. If you are choosing a splashback substrate, open the splashback guide. If you are arguing about 2047 versus 1288 on a drawing, open that guide. If you only need the bathroom table, the shower hub may be enough.
We keep the same evidence rule everywhere: cite the ABCB or Standards Australia, name the clause, and refuse to decorate it with a price or a ranking.
What we will add later
When Wayback’s CDX is back, any further clean HTML paths will become real pages or exact-match 301s. They will not become a pattern rewrite that turns unknown URLs into soft-404s. This index will grow the same way — one written guide at a time.
If a guide is missing and you have a primary source, contact the editors. Send the URL, not a vibe.
Field note on blog (1)
The guide index is a library. Dates mark the NCC 2025 compilation, not a newsroom.
Keep Housing Provisions 8.4 open if people can hit the glass. Keep Part 11.3 open if people can fall. Keep B1D4 open if you are arguing about AS 2047 versus AS 1288. Then write the clause on the request for quote and let a licensed practitioner correct you.
This site will not invent a price, a ranking, an operator or a statistic to decorate that loop. If you need a guest-post citation, cite the ABCB or Standards Australia page, not a memory of this paragraph. If you need a pane on Friday, you need a glazier, not another sentence from an editorial desk.
Unknown URLs on this domain are a real 404. Messy heritage paths 301 once. Clean paths, including this one, keep real writing so a backlink lands on a document instead of a parked page.

Questions homeowners ask
What visitors always ask
Each answer starts with the point, then the useful detail.
Are these blog posts news?
No. They are standing guides. Dates mark when the piece was compiled against NCC 2025 and AS 1288:2021, not a news cycle.
Can I link to a guide in a guest post?
Yes. That is part of the point. Link the clause, not a fake statistic.
